went to walmart to replace a small kitchen appliance. every single fricking option that walmart carries is "made in china". wtf? when the frick did those Arkansas boys decide china was the best option for everything?
it did not last and today the shelves are filled with Chinese cheap crap.
i try to avoid these huge cooperate giants and buy local. it may cost a little more but you are helping people in local communities.

It hasn't been too long ago that the concept of globalism in the context of being a threat to our national independence and civil liberties was being largely shunned as being some kind of crazy conspiracy theory being pushed by tin-foil hat wearing wackos.
But apparently, not so much today. Looks like people are waking up.
