For all the criticism of Trump, and some of it is absolutely warranted, his behavior is still hard for some folks to grasp...when you have money, you have no filter and no accountability. Both of those is what keeps most people in line day to day.

Do you want to see it on a local level? Watch the dude at work who finally meets his retirement goal and watch him turn into a jackass as he calls it as he sees it.

Now, watch Trump who is and was a billionaire. He answers to nobody. He calls it as he sees it. Personally, I love it. Everybody should and needs to be called out on their bullshite. The only people that have that ability are those who answer to themselves.

For good or bad, Trump is the only one who can call it as it is. He isn't beholden to any donor. Any company. Any board of directors. That's what makes Trump, Trump.

NWT:
I’ve got to say that was the most brutal I’ve seen. Imagine being Barney (or not). Someone basically shaming you to into submission. How is it possible to respond to that?

ETA:
Spock, I’m sorry to tell you friend, but he wasn’t making up stuff to fill in the bracketed time. He was counter-attacking an enemy, “Pocahontas”. As we’ve all witnessed every single time, his retorts are well-timed and destructive to the recipient.

Young, yes, his remarks are sometimes abrasive and cringeworthy. But, look at the constant barrage of uniparty attacks and “progressive” celebrity debasing he has to deal with. Maybe you’re correct in that his billionaire status makes him immune to that. In any case, it’s only good for America simply because he isn’t just non-establishment, he’s anti-establishment.

What are you even talking about? Like I said, it was completely inappropriate and had nothing to do with the people he was addressing. Again, "In contrast, what you find hilarious was @real talking to Indian WWII heroes, wondering what he can say to personalize his talk, coming up with the only thing he knows about Indians, which happens to be a derogatory reference to a political opponent who has nothing to do with the people he was addressing." Look, I call Warren "Pocohantas" myself because I find it funny, but I would never have thought to mention her in that setting. It just doesn't fit.

CORRECT!

This is when the CPFB scam (pocahantas' baby) was going down. What he did basically shut her arse up while Mulvaney took over.

That you would even address this is astounding. He is attacked 24/7 by everyone other than the silent majority of this country (save Fox and a few others.)

The fact is: Was what he said at the time inappropriate? Absolutely. Was it very sharp and damaging? Absolutely.

Civility and composure go out-the-door when the President shoves cigars up the orifices of interns (and then lies until the forward-thinking intern shows up w/ a blue Gap dress with his specimen) and it’s A-OK, but the current President may have, could have, would have.

You fight fire with fire.

Exactly how was it was it "sharp and damaging" to anyone but @real? It was nothing we haven't heard a million times before, except this time, the President co-opted an event to honor war heroes to make it about himself by attacking a political opponent in an exhibition of the most tortured flight of ideas I can recall seeing. People were appalled by it and reacted to it as well they should have.

Those Navajo did not look appalled by Trump's Pocahontas comment. CNN told me they were shocked and appalled but they did not look appalled. How can that be?

The comment pissed you off and his base loved it. Looks like it had the exact end result that he was hoping for. The continued hand wringing and pearl clutching of the left is what he constantly tries to remind us of. It's his re-election strategy and it is working. Please continue to be his willing dupe.

That may be the dumbest collection of words ever assembled.

Lighten up. All of that shite was funny.

I bet you laughed until your slouchy north face beanie fell off when Obama had his little mic drop moment on Kimmel.

They thought is was funny. You know why? Because they are badass men's men who fricking hate hipster SJW sky screamers and panty waist liberals who are perpetually offended.

I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!
