Check that, I worked for myself a time and was working for a poor man. But I wised up and got paid damn well by going to work for a decent sized corp and working my arse off for a few years. I don't get idiots complaining of working for someone who can afford to pay!

This is very lopsided perspective.

Most people don't hate Rich people and that includes the Left side of the political affiliation.

But we need to remember that business care only for themselves. They focus on profit, nothing more or less. If it benefits the public, good, if it's at the expense of the taxpayer, also good.

Government and Businesses are not looking out for you or me. It's the corporate bailouts that people are mad about.

Using taxpayer money to bail out a PRIVATE BUSINESS that is going to keep all of it's profits for itself while relying on government aid
is socialism. It's corporate socialism also known as corporatism.

I can see you've never operated a business. All legit businesses care about their employees otherwise they won't be in business long since they are a product of their employees. That's why they have profit sharing, raises, employee functions, retirement, etc, to attract and keep good employees.

Most of all these front porch, white brick suburban homes in the neighborhood and the little leagues and kids off to college are ultimately paid for mostly by BUSINESSES! That's what separates America from the rest. And no businesses means we're all pecking sheat with the chickens. Therefore the bailouts. No business, no America.

I am angry that people on welfare , Social Security and those who have kept working are getting a "stimulus" check.

This massive pork bill was supposed to be a "relief" bill for businesses that were forced by an INCOMPETENT GOVERNMENT to shutdown and their employees.

We have become a fricked up country.

The more I read world history the more I realize hatred for rich people has been going on for 1,000s of years. It will always be with us.

It's obvious most of this board has never lead a business.

Several posters have said they don't understand why companies don't have a "rainy day fund" .
