There are dozens of ways for a news org to state that they need to cut ties with a contributor that has taken on an official position with an administration/candidate.
Fox worded that like a some guy running a welding crew firing an incompetent member of his crew.
Very weird.
Let me try:
“With the knowledge that former Representative Gowdy has accepted an official position within the Trump administration, Fox News will end it’s relationship with Trey Gowdy as a paid commentator as his newly accepted position will compromise his ability to fulfill the role of independent commentator. We welcome former Rep. Gowdy to appear on Fox News in his new role”
How hard is that?

Seems like an appropriate step.
I would have expected that he “resigned his position to pursue these opportunities. “

Fox News has gone the way of Drudge. We are close to having all networks spewing against Donald Trump. I've seen a lot in my lifetime but I never thought I'd see our broadcast and cable media become part of the Ministry of Propaganda. Though there are a few right siders on FNC night programming, we'll see how long they remain there.
Fox News reported a poll tonight that a majority of Americans want Trump impeached and removed. That's what we get from the MOP.

every single time Brazille comes on Fox...I grab the remote and flip.
Me and the wife were watching the Five the other day and Brazile was on there. She pronounced the word hyperbole as hyperbowl. The wife damn near fell out of her chair laughing. I told her, yep, she's an LSU grad to boot.

Presumably Fox hired him for "fair and balanced" insight on legal/political/governmental matters. That he'd be released reflecting the perception that an attorney paid by President Donald Trump could not be objective is not all that surprising or unreasonable. No man can serve two masters as a wise Man once said.
However, another poster mentioned Donna Bazile and that Fox sees no apparent conflicts with her. What is not apparent is which of her Deep State masters is paying her or is she part of a larger Fox agenda?

Their rating have to be slipping a great deal now with Brazile and Ryan there even with Ryan not being on air.
I'm not sure if they got along or not. I hope they despise one another.

I can see why this was done, but let's not forget that Sean Hannity is an unabashed mouthpiece for President Trump.
Do you not understand what opinion content is?
SHepard Smith is an unabashed mouthpiece for democrats, as is chris wallace. The difference is they call themselves impartial.
I don't believe that you are so stupid that you cannot tell the difference.

I just hope they aren't actually shifting towards the left- the market is already flooded with networks shilling for the DNC.
Even the staff at PRAVDA must shake their heads at all those clowns.....They may be even less biased against Putin.
