Need to see more info on this. What information was relayed to the Marines in the request for help. How was it presented to Mattis. What other operations were the Marines conducting at the same time. The fog of war is real and most likely the cause of this frick up. Of course Colonels get paid the big bucks to see through that fog and make the right call. I'd like to learn more.

Oh i have no idea man. I've asked all those questions myself. I don't judge him really, because I don't know what really happened. All we know is that he didn't send them.
Since then he has had a good rep with SOF so I don't think it's a major issue either way. Mistakes get made unfortunately. I'm sure he wouldn't intentionally make a bad decision and I know he wasn't a careerist
