Brazil expresses worry about tension in Israel, occupied territories Brazil expressed worries Friday about the escalating violence in Israel and the Gaza Strip in recent days, which killed several civilians, including a Brazilian-Israeli.
"The Brazilian government calls on all the parties involved to avoid taking any step to" harm the preparations underway for the removal of the Israeli armed forces from the Gaza Strip, the pullout of the Jewish settlements and the settlements' transfer tothe administration of the Palestine National Authority (PNA) due in August, said the Brazilian Foreign Ministry in a statement. Dana Galkowicz, the daughter of a Brazilian man and an Argentine woman was killed Thursday in the Israeli city of Netiv Ha Asara in a missile attack.
The attack, claimed by Hamas, broke the truce reached in late-January between the PNA and Israel. On Friday, Israel killed seven Hamas militiamen in air attacks in retaliation.

That's not what we've been debating in the last couple of pages. Do you have a link to the clip?

Do you have a link to the clip?
It was Jake Tapper from CNN. Major piece. Ran a couple of nights ago if you want to look it up.

No it does not. What's implied in the article I linked is that Hamas last fired rockets at Israel in February 2005. February 2005 through June 2006 covers 16 months.
so you are saying to me.. that a consecutive 5 year span does not cover 16 months?
WOW.
Ok let's try it another way..
Here's to hoping that feb 2005, actually what the rest of us thinks it is as well as june 2006.
BBC... March 2006
quote:
One of the rockets, which are bigger than the makeshift Qassam missiles militants usually launch, fell near a kibbutz in southern Israel.
Was the first time they had used that type of rocket.
Cnn 2005... now what?
quote:
Over the last five days, Israeli forces have arrested 412 "wanted Palestinians" in response to dozens of Qassam rockets being fired into Israel.
quote:
Hamas' leader in Gaza, Mahmoud al-Zahar, told reporters his militant group would stop attacks against Israelis.
Hard to tell them to stop if they are not doing it.
So now you have it in both years, with in your time line.

So we have three news sources. Before I draw my conclusion, do we agree that the Washington Post, the BBC and CNN all are similar in credibility?
