If we got rid of one word responses and trolling half the Trump supporters would be banned within 24 hours.

TJ I actually agree with you here...if its going to be treated like a media circus witch hunt, they should wither to their corners and not bother.

If the GOP actually wants to see justice done and are not afraid of the rocking the DC boat then lets throw some of these assholes in prison.

Why not drop the bomb in October, then? If I order a politically motivated operation to influence a campaign, I'm damned sure going to use it during the campaign.

2 things:

1 That's assuming they have "bomb worthy" evidence to drop and that's the point where is it? 6 months later and even you would have to admit there isn't any real bona fide evidence connecting Trump to Russians, but I am sure if they were they would have Obama would have absolutely released it before the election if it was that visible.

2. I think Obama felt very well about Hilary's chances of winning until maybe the last couple weeks they saw things tighten a bit but at no time did they really believe she would lose. It's one of the reasons the whole tone of the investigation turned immediately after the election from Russia interference to Russia collusion with Trump. Here is an honest question--

Interestingly, this is why all you receive from me is derision.

My acknowledged douchiness in the the face of others' douchiness is the source of all the shade? I always assumed you guys just didn't much care for people who didn't toe your line. You know, on account of how everyone with more than a couple of less-than-popular positions gets so much shite around here.

Yep. It did. Sorry you're so blinded by hate.
No hate in my crew, man. But anytime anyone wants to douche it up I'm generally up for it. Sorry. Just the way I'm made.

What line?

As recently as March of last year, I opposed Trump in the primaries.

People who disagree with people give them shite regarding the disagreement. Welcome to life. I hope that clears up a challenging aspect of it for you. There's nothing odd about it.

If I go to the Democratic Underground, I'm not going to whine about being ganged up on.

On this board, you've become a professional douche so I don't really know what your complaint is. You want to do it solo?

You don't need fire to sway a campaign. All you need is smoke, innuendo. Frankly it would have been a lot more manageable and manipulable, not to mention potent, in the fall of 2016 than it is now. Presumably the media would have played along. Some here suggest they're certainly playing along now.

This I agree with.

The fun part here is how easily people see this shite narrowly.

Look. We KNOW that the Obama admin happily targeted political opponents using government agencies. That's really not even a question at this point.

Everyone assumes that because "muh Russians" is the focus now that "muh Russians" was the motive in the first place.

Obama and the Democrats simply wanted to spy on their opponents. So, they did. They weren't looking for "muh Russians". That's just what they ended up running with.

They simply needed an excuse to listen in..........and, to that end, hopeful stay one step ahead of their opponent in a campaign.

Whoops.

Yeah. I'm whining and barely keeping my head above water, bro. Thanks for both the life's lesson in how people respond to disagreement and the encouraging words. Please keep in mind that I was responding to your apparent umbrage about my tone and attitude (why you speak with such derision, et al).

So the five of us are responsible for the level of discourse on the board?
Yall are allowed to start 10 page threads where the premise of the OP is "all libs are pussies."

We push back to keep it fun. Lighten up Francine.

And yes, that is my opinion. Just like your stated opinions regarding members of this board.

It's a political board. Opinions are kind of the thing in here. Glad I could help clear up something else for ya.

Hillary did go to Pennsylvania the last 2-3 days of the campaign. I thought that was somewhat telling. She could've just been playing defense, but I think there was legitimate concern.

The only time I got "scared" about the election was on election day itself. I was listening to Sean Hannity (deal with it), and he had been given some exit polling data. He wasn't allowed to give details, but I could tell that he was discouraged. I had gone thru the same thing in 2012, because Mark Levin said that the exit polling data didn't look good for Romney.

The exit polling was accurate in 2012. Thankfully for Trump supporters, it was wrong in 2016.

This board is practically a model of polite discourse compared to ANY board I've ever seen where liberals dominate.

You're on a board where you're outnumbered. It is what it is. You'll survive.

Better yet. I bet you let him wear a fedora for when he one day becomes the insufferable jazz guitarist.
