I can link you several vids where people present evidence for the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as being a real event in history.
Please do.

...then his holy book would be without errors. However, it's full of historical inaccuracies with stories that have no evidence to back them up.
Regarding your claim that there is no evidence? The Bible, itself, is a historical record and an evidence. Whether you want to believe it or not is another matter.
That said, not all claims can have the kind of evidence that you want. What sort of evidence would you expect from desert dwellers that witness an actual miracle of God? They didn't have cameras or audio recorders. All they had was eye-witness accounts and the ability to write those accounts down.
Regarding archeological evidence: it's actually quite rare to have evidence preserved. Just think about all of the billions of people that have ever lived and the fact that we know about only a tiny sliver of a percentage of them. Physical evidence degrades over time just like writings. It's quite astonishing the amount of evidence we do have that supports the historical narratives of the Bible.
quote:Everything necessary for salvation is quite easy to understand. The Bible isn't overly complicated. The problem is that it's an important book and thus everyone wants it to say what they want it to say. The sin of man is what causes the problem, not God's ability to communicate.
If he was so perfect, his holy book would be easy to understand. But Christians can't even agree on it. That's why you have Protestants and Catholics and many other branches of Christianity that argue with each other.
There are some pretty basic rules for bible hermeneutics that would greatly help people understand the Bible if they applied them, but everyone wants to read into the Bible what they already believe to be true and cherry-pick what it says to defend their own beliefs.
