Unlike "Joe and Obama," Trump created an economy which resulted in the lowest unemployment rate EVER for blacks, Hispanics, and Asians (almost the lowest for women, too). Trump cut unneeded business regulations, had an aggressive drilling policy that made America energy independent and sent gas prices to their lowest levels in a long time.
He also aggressively defended the border, which led to a drastic drop in illegal immigration (remember the infamous chart?). Obama had told Trump that North Korea and little Rocket Man was our biggest threat, but Trump made one trip and basically rendered him irrelevant.
Your assessment of Trump's first term has more holes than 10 slices of Swiss cheese.

So he can’t grow the economy while slashing spending and he can’t grow it enough to outpace the debt? Well, by your rationale we might as well just quit because he can’t do anything. No one should believe he is going to slash trillions in debt in one fell swoop but let’s start with billions and work our way up. Trump is beholden to a Republican party that has no backbone so it’s likely they will pass a CR but that isn’t his fault that they fight him at every turn
