1) I think Ron DeSantis has been a GREAT Governor of Florida.
2) That being said, EVERYTHING about his run for President was a complete disaster. Aside from the fact that he betrayed Trump by running (DeSantis only became Governor because Trump endorsed him), DeSantis made every mistake possible. 1) He surrounded himself with questionable money men, 2) He embraced Swamp Rat Jeb Bush and the dirty Bush family cabal from the start, and 3) Somewhat surprisingly to me, DeSantis proved to be a mediocre candidate at best on the national stage.
The only thing Ron DeSantis accomplished by running for President was that it showed 1) He was disloyal, 2) He surrounded himself with Establishment cronies, and 3) He wasn't ready for prime time on the biggest stage.
Again. I really like him as Governor. But he totally screwed the pooch as a presidential candidate.
