I see several posters here rejoicing the Johnson sided with the Dems to get the aid passed and says people like Gatez and MTG are the problem.

My stance is the aid will have eventually passed. The issue is the GOP finally had leverage for a border bill that under no other conditions would get passed. In turn the members of the party sabotaged the deal and worked back room deals to stop negotiating.

Members secretly telling Dems they want to get the aid passed

Senate writing a bill that makes the current situation law and trying to portray it as a win

Members going on the news putting down the party for trying to pass bills the voters want.

Instead Dems seen they could sit and wait because the members were willing to give up their careers and back stab voters to give them what they want anyway.

Dems know they never have to negotiate with republicans because through enough shaming they get everything they want regardless.

-Biden infrastructure bill passed
-FISA bill passed
-FBI funding passed
-Ukraine aid will pass
-Dems threw away the impeachment and laughed as they got what they wanted

Republicans won the house and basically did nothing but bend over to everything Dems wanted. Y’all are blaming MAGA for the disarray but they have failed at every turn to push the agenda instead the establishment got everything they wanted but you still call MAGA the problem because the establishment couldn’t get it quicker?

95% of the money will not leave the USA. Will go directly to US companies to keep and employ more Americans. They will go towards stopping a Terrorist Nation. A terrorist nation that we look towards when we spend more than a trillion a year in defense and intelligence to counter. Replacing this inventory has been in the works for decades and half the bill is money is for just that, replacing weapons given to Ukraine with newer better weapons, just in case we have to go to war with Russia or China or N. Korea or Iran, or all of them sones of B*** at once. Seeing that they're all in cahoots, they're all allies.

Edit: Most of the "money" being "sent" to Ukraine is in the form of old outdated(for the US) equipment, or a significant proportion. Some have a shelf life. Some are very expensive to dispose of. A lot of it is for air defense to stop the R. terrorist State from bombing hospitals apartment blocks daycares and elementary schools. For all of the pro-lifers, just think of all the pregnant women who are dying, and the already-born babies.

Russia does not want to negotiate in good faith. Oh, we're only going to take Crimea I promise. Oh, whe'e only going to take Donbas I promise. Oh, we only want regime change I promise. So you want to sign a treaty to not invade Ukraine anymore past this point? There is already a treaty signed to do that. To not invade them at all. How about the terrorist state just do what they agreed to in the last treaty, before we think about a new one?

That's much better than just sending the money. The money made will be taxed. Well except the rich guys. It is also the truth and not misleading propaganda Maga likes to spew.

Don't vote for Mister 1/4 of the national debt in 4 years Trump then.

Tying Ukraine aid to the border was weak and irrelevant leverage. It didn’t move the needle and just harmed Ukraine’s war effort.

Tie the border to a continuing resolution and that would carry weight.

I'm wondering where the aid packages and military responses are for all the humanitarian crises happening in central and south America. Is nobody interested in spending a little coin to remediate the so called root of this border issue. Millions of asylum seekers seems like a hidden disaster to me.

Most Dems are acting like none of that actually exists. Strange.

That's a tough question for me.I believe Israel, as a country, leans more towards right than wrong. Benjamin Netanyahu has been in power for too long in a democracy. They grant Muslims the same rights as any other citizen to live peacefully in their country, unlike their neighbors.

The current situation seems excessive to me. It was not unprovoked. Hamas, a terrorist group elected in Gaza, hides behind civilians as shields. Labeling Israel as a Terrorist State is too extreme, in my view. While they have committed some terrorist acts, Gaza is the battleground. In contrast to Ukraine, where Russia targets civilians for no reason.

It's challenging for me to take a definitive stance on Israel.

you suggest it was proper to send billions of our tax dollars to Ukraine to fight a terrorist regime.

is Hamas less of terrorist regime than Russia?

Tougher question: is the USA less of a terror organization than either one of those?

Tougher question:

It isn’t that tough. On paper we sponsor a lot of foreign wars. The more money we send to Ukraine, the more Ukrainians die.

We are sponsoring Israel, Gaza, and Tehran to varying degrees.

We have enough issues between the Atlantic and Pacific. Plus we are being invaded on southern border.
