The footnote says the Page FISA warrant was obtained from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) court utilizing a “different (and lower) standard than the one governing” governing Mueller’s office.

Jj,
Here is something I have always wondered about the court. Mike Rogers tells them there is abuse of the system, he is doing an internal audit and will get back to them ASAP.
Baker refiles the application. Its already been turned down once (a rarity) and the addition is the dosssssiieee (as Bongino says).
The court issues warrants four weeks after application, like clockwork, only for some reason this one is approved in three weeks, JUST DAYS before Rogers presents the courts with the rampant abuse of the system by the FBI.
Wouldnt any judge put 2 and 2 together, heck 1 and 1 together and say, hmm why the rush, only the dossier added, and you just beat this newly revealed info? And wy did they not question it when it was renewed the 2nd 3rd and 4th time, by then everybody and his brother knew it was suspect.
And did they not question Baker retiring the week he got it shoved through the court.
Really makes one wonder if the court itself is not corrupted, course there is that little chat the lovebirds had about inviting a judge for cocktails. If the top of the DOJ is corrupt, its quite feasible the judicial branch is as well.

It is. I’ve seen it first hand in many dealings with judges.
You can call it “corrupt”, (I do), but the more accurate term is ideologically possessed.
We know this is true. The Progressives make no secret about it. You have to pass the Progressive litmus tests in order be appointed to a judgeship when they are in power.
The job of a judge is to apply the law, but Progressives expect judges to bend the law, ignore the law, or outright flaunt the law, in support of Progressive outcomes. Period.

A judge ain’t nothing but a lawyer with a robe on, so why should it surprise anyone?

When the rule of law is usurped by the rule of man, why bother having any laws at all?

Yes, because they understand how the system actually works. Conservatives should give this a try. Maybe take their own side every now and then.

The Judge allowed politics to substitute for law in making a ruling.

The FISA judge or judges that approved the applications are either corrupt or totally incompetent.
Or both
Or both
