Following the Biden administration’s surprise announcement that Health and Human Services (HHS) is taking over the distribution of monoclonal antibody infusion treatments for COVID-19—reducing the number of doses in several red states by 50 percent—a spokesperson for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he has reached out to Glaxo Smith Kline to “fill the deficit.”

Some states are set to receive fewer doses of monoclonal antibody treatments after the Biden administration switched the distribution system this week. Florida, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee are among the states targeted to have their monoclonal antibody (mAb) doses restricted by HHS.

Noting that there have been no reported shortages of the treatment, Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki was asked why the government feels it’s necessary to reduce doses to states like Florida, which has a greater need. Psaki reiterated the standard of “equity” as the reason for taking over distribution.

F--- their 'equity' crap (pardon my un-lady-like language but this outright communist maneuver deserves nothing more), this is simply punishing those states for being red.

My money is on DeSantis.

Their statement of “equity” makes as much sense as giving half of the football team’s jock straps to the girl’s volleyball team.

It evens out who gets them but only one group actually uses them.

The lack of leadership in other states with respect to MAB is why those states aren’t using MaB. Not some equity problem.

Also, Demo governors don’t want to treat Covid.

If the federal government is hampering the disbursement of medical supplies 100% out of spite, to the determent of the public health of our moms, dads, brothers, and sisters, resulting in prolonged sickness or death, we are being led by truly evil people and it is time to leave the party.

Welcome to 2020.

You’re being red-pilled. (Make sure to leave the Baudrillard in the trash as you exit the theater.)

Can you imagine a Republican President "withholding life saving" medical supplies to a Democrat State?

I remember Coumo's daily press briefings where everything was Trump's fault. Trump was responsible for every New Yorker who was dying during the early days of Covid. Crying on the TV about how he needed ventilators. PEOPLE WERE DYING!!! EMMY performance.

DeSantis finds ways around this idiot we have occupying the White House. And not once has he gone crying on TV.
