Not a republican but here you are assuming dumb shite again. Our state superintendent is the highest paid in the nation while we have the lowest per student spending while simultaneously never budging from the bottom of every educational metric. Her salary and “progress” level for our great state is tied to CC and was the reason she was shipped down here from Maryland and DC yet we still have one of the lowest graduation rates and highest illiteracy rates in the country. Good public schools are becoming a thing of the past but she opposes charters and school choice. Our students in A rated schools are having to do more with less money as it’s appropriated to the lower performing schools by about 3 grand per student with no improvement. She moved us further into the CC curriculum because we actually got worse after her first year. But no it’s just because I’m a stupid republican I oppose it right?

Can you think of practical reason children should be forced to learn a half dozen languages just to verify basic knowledge?
No need to speak the language of pythagorus to understand his theorem.. no reason to be able to read or write in cursive if you can just look at the same exact copy in plain print.
