Why don’t you start a coherent thread with your opinions of the response by all agencies and levels of government involved?

How many thousands managed to evacuate before the flood hit?

It’s being discussed quite a bit actually. It’s not a big deal you started another thread, but what you are saying hasn’t been discussed has and is currently in those threads being discussed. Seriously doubt all the answers are out yet.

Look, I said we don't live in a perfect world. I can guarandamntee you there will be a system of sensors and alarms put in now. Got to hope rednecks don't screw with the sensors. But there will be a system put in so this never happens again. There have been innumerable floods down those rivers through the millennia. It may be one hundred years before it happens again. It is up to those government officials and politician that come after us to make it work.

Sounds like they responded reasonably well, and prevented the tragedy from being even worse.

What in the world are you talking about? It’s been all hands on deck from the start. Every major rescue unit in the state, and beyond has been there. It’s been a frantic rescue effort and is still ongoing.

It’s an unspeakable tragedy. And anyone who tries to gain political argument traction from ignorance of the subject deserves any scorn they receive.

texas response was activated the day before, they knew.

So you are so stupid you think they knew the river would rise 25ft in two hours and 40 something people would die.

But did nothing?

Tell us you voted for Kamala without telling us IDIOT

I think he means a system that will jolt people out of their sleep and then to know what it means and where to go when this happens.

You used to post here nastier than a copperhead if all didn't believe the Q mantra.

How'd that work out for ya?

There are several threads on it calling for prayers.

It has been said they have lived along that river for years, they know it rains, they know it floods, it came at a bad time and was quick. Floods happen this way, sadly. It is horrific and sad. The local response was quick.

Not everything is a conspiracy. Even if this was something other than a freak flood not seen in a while. What good will it do to bitch about it? Online hair-brained stuff won't bring the lives lost back.

I thought you said patriots are in control they have it all? Let's call out that crock before another nutty theme is started, shall we?

Thanks,

CA

There can be no negative events that reflect poorly on the Leader. The Leader is celebrating a great victory so this flood stuff is fake news and didnt happen.

The lack of response is just what the future will look like. States are not capable of responses to big events. But we all have to die sometime.
