Sad state we are in to fire someone for this action. However, easy fix is to stay off social media.

I copied and pasted the”resigned” wording from his original post. Are you saying I simply changed the wording myself. The actual article that he posted says resigned in the first paragraph. A paragraph I might add, he originally posted.
Does any of this matter in the grand scheme? No. But I don’t like the insinuation that I’m a liar and I don’t take kindly to gaslighting.
The link in the OP says he was fired.
He was fired.

Wrongful termination. he resigned for the first job, but if you read further, he was fired from his radio show.
You can be fired, in most states, for anything not specifically prohibited by law. Don’t like the clothes an employee wears, who they vote for, what they tweet, the car they drive, their spouse..you can fire them for that.

What the frick is offensive about “All lives matter?”
What the frick is offensive or racist by saying:
quote:
I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country
It doesn't matter to the left if it is something they do not agree with.

The actual article that he posted says resigned in the first paragraph. A paragraph I might add, he originally posted.

The 60-year-old Napear also was fired by KTHK Sports 1140 in Sacramento. He had co-hosted a show on the AM radio station with former Kings player Doug Christie.

Political Discrimination California law prohibits employers from controlling their employees’ political activities. This means that an employer may not punish an employee for being a member of a specific political party. Nor may employers forbid employees from going to political rallies or becoming candidates for public office. Employers are also prohibited from trying to coerce or influence their employees to take any sort of political action. And employers are prohibited from retaliating against employees who oppose such practices. Source: LINK
