Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Committee on House Administration, said Monday that lawmakers will be able to use congressional funds to purchase feminine hygiene products after three Democratic lawmakers requested the materials be more readily available to members.

99% of the members of both houses ARE feminine hygiene products.

And the bag they come in.

Toilet paper too?

This has gone too far... Not with my tax dollars! Periods are gross and I hate ‘em!

So now we have a tampon tax? Douche tax? A period tax from the applicable tax period?

Why not have congressional funds for food? I mean, do we expect these elected officials to starve?!?

And why not a housing stipend. And transportation? These poor, poor people can’t afford that on their $174K salary....

Because normal people don't demand that their employers provide them with tampons. Why do progs always feign ignorance?

Those poor little Democrats. If money is so tight that they can’t buy their own cotton pony plugs, then we should get with our wives/SO’s and have them donate their gently used products to the members in congress. Just a quick rinse, ring it out and these Democrat bitches can use them again for free. Saves money and we can call it a charitable donation. Win/Win.

I’m not a prog, dimwit.

I have zero problem with Congress spending maybe a hundred bucks a year on tampons. They cost nothing and are required by a significant portion of the population.

I ask again, why should toilet paper be available to the men if this is the stance you want to take?
