No… what I was told from a first hand source who I am close with who works in LOCAL law enforcement, is that non locals are not being turned away from the area, but that he almost wishes that they would be because they’re causing traffic and their heavy trailers and trucks are busting up compromised roads that they desperately need. He doesn’t work for FEMA. He’s a life long local.

Just to clarify, after reading your comments above I assume they are made in good faith and I have no reason to think otherwise.
Yet my comments above are directed at many initial reports in the MSM about Elon Musk’s assertion that authorities were blocking supplies and aid from being delivered.
Many MSM straight-up said that Musk’s claim was false with NO caveats whatsoever.

that is where i draw my line in the sand. for many storms outside of NOLA in my past, i have loaded up trailers, even box trucks full of supplies and led donation drives for Hurricane Sandy. the Tuscaloosa Tonrado, the native tribes in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Hurricane Ike etc….
sometimes i have driven straight into the closest spots i can find and unload my truck or trailers at the best church i can find. Stopping and helping people i see in need etc.
i would be doing it right now in the Helene situation, but life isn’t cooperating at the moment, but that’s what i’ve always done and never even publicized it nor look for a pat on the back.
BUT IF ANYONE. including some inept Gov’t Entity tries to get in between me & my efforts to help felllow countrymen. women and child. that’s when i’ll push the needle and give some pushback.
Where is it their rights to stop one American from helping another American! I don’t care if they made up some law in hindsight to the constitution for “emergency response”.
What’s going on in HELENE COUNTRY is that they are starving and killing people that are trying to survive so they can swoop in on as much land as easy as possible with no descendants to kick back against the mining companies and Blackrock.
this must be stopped or we will all be enslaved by these evil pricks!
