I haven't seen anything promoted, but I saw of FB that my left-leaning cousin and his wife both voted in the Republican primary and made it a point to vote against every Trump-endorsed candidate.

Same. Kemp has a lot of warts, but he is still better than the governor of about 40 other states, so I will support him to fend off Miss Golden Corral.

Can you explain this?
Trump won the Presidential election in 2016. Brian Kemp was elected Gov in 2018.
GA has had a Republican governor since 2003.

Did you not see any of kemps commercials. He banked himself as Donald trump of GA. The man was driving around a old white truck saying he was going to put illegals in it for god sakes lol.
His campaign commercials and everything were as aligned with DT as possible. They were friends until Donnie got his feelings hurt by a covid disagreement and then kemp acted like a rino during the election.
It sucks but Donald was wrong on covid, he had bad intel. Kemp actually made the right call or closest to right.
