Maybe so. Buts it’s no more irresponsible to say millions were going to die from this virus if we didn’t absolutely tank the economy

Agreed

Well, just let me know how you feed 7 billion people without a global credit/debt system.

And no, millions of people probably won't die of this. Of course, 1-2 million people globally die of TB every year and nobody even cares about that since I have been alive.... they use to.

meaning the government will have to buy corporate bonds, stocks

Fox News yesterday was floating the idea of the federal government buying stock interests in companies they send bailout money too to ensure they can control the companies.

That’s is a bizarrely terrifying thought for Americans being floated by the MSM

So, explain to me how this comment does anything positive.

why does all news have to be positive?

especially when the course of action our government took didn't exactly explain this to the population along the way?

It doesn’t. No comment would have been just fine. But throwing out wild guesses this hyperbolic does nothing but further de-stabilize the market.

Oh, now I get it. You are one of those that like to throw out hyperbolic guesses as well.

That makes zero sense. The can't go in and start buying worthless paper from Trumps buddies without a reason.

The virus will be back for sure, the only reason it wouldn't be is if a much higher percentage of people have this i.e. saturation.

the nature of this plan/policy kind of requires a rolling/fluid situation, unless we lock down for a year or so

This isn’t capitalism when you force small businesses to stay closed because of a Virus threat. That is USSR at its finest. You have it backwards... any government interference was not capitalism. You would find more bandits if you adjusted yourself aim to government cronyism instead of buying into the narrative that the job creators are the bad people. Pretty sure this was a government created virus in a centrally controlled country.
