Hatch Act argument from Willis was interesting. Seems to have some teeth to it as well.

DA is asking for a Oct court date due to one of the co-conspirators requesting a speedy trial. I would keep an eye on that person. Did not catch the name.

I love the usages of law statutes by the left that should be followed while arguing cases that have zero legitimacy or precedence being brought forth by the left. Tells us booze & Ag what is your opinions on the Ga RICO cases? Is there any specific charges that seem legitimate? As the DA herself stated there is no specific crime, it’s the totality of them that is the crime.

How about, for a change, you tell us how the various charges fail legally?

Really kinda wild the depths we’ve sunk to because of Trump’s malignant narcissism and refusal to accept defeat.

I had not thought of that angle (because I have not even really given much thought to this case at all), but that is, in fact, pwn3ge.

When trying to be clever may get your client more criminal charges

Meadows appears to have a pretty cut and dried argument that his actions were within the scope of his duties - which is is what he needs to show to remove to federal court.

However the jury pool is Atlanta for the relevant fed district.

That is a major problem in many courts located in blue cities.

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

By law the scope of his duties could not include advocating for a particular candidate or party.

Which he admitted to doing.

Also amazing how judicial activism is used and even encouraged to destroy a political opponent

As if the “political opponent” did not do something literally unprecedented in the 250 year history of the country in an attempt to subvert an election and stay in power

You have eyes and ears and were presumably cogent and sober for most of the post-election period. I don’t need to spell out for you what you actually saw.

But you commies don’t want us to believe our eyes, only believe what you’re told. Like we’re not supposed to believe what we saw election night 2020. If you don’t see judicial activism against 1 political opponent like never before, then you’re a lost sheep.

Why don't you cut to the chase? Just admit you support weaponizing our judicial system.

Believe what you want. You’re the one wailing and gnashing your teeth because your perception of reality is distorted and not matching up with the events that are playing out.

Makes no difference to me.
