Ah, the old data capped or bandwidth restricted wireless service is equal to uncapped broadband argument.
Do any of you even research what is out there and available or is just repeat scary things.

Why not keep the policy in place that protects end users and markets from monopoly interference in content until that monopoly doesn't exist anymore?
We have anti-trust and monopoly laws. If anywhere, those protections should be there.
The internet is not a utility. I'm astonished that "progressives" want to regulate the INTERNET on laws from the 1930's.
The FCC and the federal government in general is NOT the source of protection. It quickly becomes the exact opposite. Want proof? Look at any other alphabet soup bureaucracy that idiots before us clamored for, that we now pay the price for.

ok. lets try again, Cat5 installer-boy.
I as a small start-up ISP can buy access to a trunk, install wireless over a short area, then profit.

I can't believe this shite is going 13+ pages.
It's water under the bridge at this point. It's happening.
And, I mean. Correct me if I'm wrong but has ANYONE written ANYTHING in this thread that wasn't covered in any of the other 40 page threads?

They're still using liberal economic arguments from back then, so.......

they just keep reposting the same tired, false arguments they saw on reddit. thinking if they post it enough times, it will be true.
it's the sky-screamer way.

LOL, 1GB speed to your home.
LOL, wireless phones
LOL, cellular phones
LOL, 2G
LOL, 3G
LOL, 4G
It would be dumb to think we know what the future holds. Being in IT since the 90s though, wireless will replace what we think we know about data transmission.
Now if you excuse me, I have a couple of underwater cables to snip to crush the world economy.

What is it you think we haven't researched. I'll use myself as an example. I have, by your definition, six options for Internet access at my home.
WoW! Cable - Had it for years, but anything with an upload speed over 5 Mbps is prohibitively expensive.
AT&T Gigapower - It's awesome and I now have it. But it's only been available for around 12 months, and I live in a highly populated area. This service is not available to many Americans.
Verizon Wireless - I have it for phone, but it is not a viable option for home internet. I'll either pay $15/Gb after 10 GB, or upgrade to their unlimited plan and get throttled after 23GB or so. We regularly use 500GB-1TB a month because we have streaming TV (PlayStation Vue).
AT&T - Same thing as Verizon
T-Mobile - Same thing as Verizon plus the signal is terrible.
Sprint - Signal is terrible.
So, of my 6 options, only two are truly viable. One is fairly restrictive on upload speeds due to the technology they use.
Should AT&T decide to start throttling Netflix or Playstation Vue so I'll get DirectTV Now instead, I only have one other real option, and it is less competitive on price and speed.

OK, now you are not even making good arguments. Next you will claim this is racist and Pai hates brown people

I'm just fascinated at their stamina.
And, well, to be honest, at the stamina of both sides.
There isn't a soul on this board who hasn't already said everyfrickingthing that can possibly be said on this subject from their point of view.
At this point, it amounts to nothing more than
"You're stupid!!!"
"Nuh Uh...You're stupider!!!"
"Oh yeah, well you're the stupidest!!!"

Lol its okay, he doesn't understand the real idea behind small cells and femto cells.

Good point

Their entire platform is based on the first half of the 20th century and before, and this is no different

So what we are worried about is your ability to potentially watch TV, seriously? I though we were having some end of the world shite happening.
I am going to go out on a limb and say you will figure out how to sit your happy arse down and watch some TV with NN being repealed.

Not really, but all this faux outrage about NN was generated from George Soros and the Ford Foundation that pushed over $200m into the promotion of NN.
