As mentioned before, we are going to be receiving good news (some of it occurring now and a lot of it surely coming later) about this pandemic.

Just remember that a lot of you who are skyscreamers, fearmongers and chicken littles on this fine board -- know that your panic and fears you've posted here like the pathetic loser pussies you truly are have not gone unnoticed.

You will be called to the carpet for it and ridiculed for a long time to come. I really hope you leave this country and head off to the socialist ones. We don't need you and will always do better despite you.

You're getting a lot of downvotes but personally I agree with you. Basically what you are describing are liberals and damn straight this country would be a hell of a lot better off without them

Anyone who has criticized the president for saving millions of lives should be looked in to.

Their fear mongering and general attitude towards millions of lives being saved is concerning to say the least.

Not just liberals. The most amazing thing to me about all of this, is the Trump-loving conservatives that I call friends, who are willing to give up liberty for the illusion of a little safety. These are the one's that are totally ok with being told that they must have "papers" if the cops pull you over to inquire proof of why you are out and about.

I like how videos of empty hospitals and testing sites have popped up and now all of a sudden there’s a steep decline in deaths in the so called hot spots. I.E New York and NOLA. Hilarious and predictable

You think those things are related?

You've been on the board less than a year. I've been here for 14. GFY.

I'm sure everyone is petrified of being "called to the carpet" by a bunch of wall-eyed, chromosomally challenged gentlemen.

1) Trump slow to respond, but comes around.
2) Since no one knows much about the virus, people over compensated.
3) Things turn out better than the pessimists thought. (Hopefully.)

I don't doubt there will be, in the end, a review of what we did right and what we did wrong. Given that there is general agreement on the approach, if not the degree, I find it hard to believe that anyone other than the most blinded partisans will "call anyone to the carpet".

We weren't as prepped as we could have been and we hopefully overreacted in the end. Lessons learned.

This has been the most disappointing thing, other than the massive economic hit, for me, as well. I don't actually know anyone like this, personally, but I've seen all of the people who identify themselves as conservatives, who have been patting everyone on the back for shutting everything down.

I can't grasp how those people could be so blind, after everything we've all witnessed from the left. Why they can't see that this is another cooked up media hoax (the reaction, not the virus) is beyond me.

I don't think shutting everything down is the answer but I do think that shutting down crowds at major sporting events probably helped tremendously with slowing the spread.

If I thought all of you actually gave the matter some thought, it would be frightening.

This right here. I have personally watch a hardcore Trump supporter, who defends Trump at every turn, be willing to forgo everything and embrace big daddy govt.

Of course. That's why any "I told you so" at this juncture is just laughable.

My grandparents in Folsom, to an absolute T. The incessant "StAy aT hOmE" posts shared on Facebook, the constant news articles, the constant texts "just to check in" every day or so to talk about so and so who got it or thinks they have it and the numbers from the state.

The worrying is out of control. And all of it just to be submissive and herded like sheep as our liberties are stripped. Quite easy to do when you're both retired and don't worry about income anymore.
