His reference to clinical trials is a joke. I reviewed 21 available as of yesterday. They say whatever the authors want them to day.
The Cheng study indicated HCQ works when started early. Another reviewer slammed as they did not include critical patients. What they missed: Cheng was looking at best demo to treat. And he found it.

So the media was bitching that the White House was getting preferential treatment as far as testing goes.
