I have said it here before… the FBI is data modeling the missing data from the large cities like LA,NYC,NO,STL etc. They are taking UCR summary historical data and trying to fill in the gaps in current reporting methods. The new NIBRS reporting spec is much more challenging for larger departments. There are 3X more data elements and error checking in the new reporting formats. New Orleans hasn’t reported since 2021.

I want to know all I can about the basis of a political opponent's arguments. I put it in the realm of my high school English teacher - she insisted on strict compliance to the English language - would tolerate no departure, even when the 'gist' of the statement is clear.
I had no such tutor in the law - SFP is like a community college crash course on "what the LAW says."
Now I do NOT value law more than truth - but SFP's profession is to do just that. For that I give him kudos.
What I do NOT admire is his penchant to seem 'glad' when the 'bad guys' get away with being untruthful - with the protection of 'the law.'
I still revere my high school English teacher (God bless Mrs. Jewell Peace) and still loath lawyers (until I need one - hopefully never)

Nobody is arguing crime didn't go up in 2022, Rog. That was part of the post-Covid spike
