I don't see it that way at all. The only mention of anyone working against anyone specifically was them saying Iran is working against Trump.
This takes the foreign interference card off the table for Democrats. That isn't panic. I imagine the Dems are livid right now over that conference.

The American people desperately need to wake up and vote out every establishment and big money backed politician. It’s not some crazy hard task or anything.
America is in absolute desperate need of a third party with the simple goal of unseating incumbents.
Political office is supposed to be a civil service carried out in a limited time frame by intelligent people who represent their constituents.
It has morphed into some sick career path for the most soulless and psychotic power hungry people in the country.
America, the greatest experiment, was set up with a government beholden to its people. That’s the absolute beauty of our system. And we as a society are happily and willfully handing our entire liberty and system over to the most evil members of our country.
We enable and allow them to do what they are doing to us. We deserve what’s coming.

Still haven't found any credible evidence showing Russia actually was helping Trump.

Wrong. WaPo now reporting that the FBI is going to announce that it was Iran behind the threatening Proud Boys emails sent out to Democratic voters. This is excellent news.
