The question I have is why are media reports considered "evidence" in the first place? Why are judges OK with this?

The FISA/FISC system is broken as broken can be. Sadly, it was just renewed by Congress last year.

Why media reports are considered is a very good question. Judges tied in to a common goal but needing a least one degree of separation to appear to be above the fray.

Great post, Almost. You do realize that there is still an unwarranted witch hunt taking place by the same people who committed these crimes. And these same people have obstructed Donald Trumps doing his job. OBSTRUCTION, is what they are accusing our sitting President of doing. Because he is destroying their base. It started before he became President and hasn't let up. How do you forgive what is is still taking place?

Scary stuff. They don't even need a crime. Just spread a rumor to the media....and it'll eventually become a taxpayer funded investigation, to spy on someone in order to find a crime.

That's true power. Being able to ruin anyone you want and never having to be held accountable. Permanent government is so powerful that even the media has opted to work with them, instead of trying to question them.

Weird that CNN doesn’t even have this on their front page? This seems like a yuge news story. They are too busy explaining how Google’s algorithm is not what Trump says it is. They can’t even get a video to load properly on their website but they claim to understand Google’s algorithm. They are sad.

Perhaps we should not allow news reports based on "anonymous sources". That would prevent the FBI from leaking information to Yahoo News, then the Yahoo News article being used as supporting evidence.
