Yates testified that Flynn was intercepted as part of routine surveillance of all foreign dignitaries, that it was known that Russia performed th same surveillance, that they were aware of th same lie, and that he was susceptible to blackmail.
If you don't believe this is the case, you must be truly baffled why this Flynn, Comey, Mueller thing is even news at all.

It's essentially the assumption that anytime anyone does anything wrong, they are susceptible to blackmail.

When a person is known to have committed a felony, such as lying to the FBI, they are susceptible to blackmail. This isn't subjective. It's not debatable. This is a universal fact that applies to everybody.
If I knew my boss had lied to the FBI and I could frick up his world, my status as a subordinate is substantially elevated. I now own his arse. Such is life. If you argue otherwise, you're simply wrong.
