Why is politics the only profession where experience is a negative? You wouldn’t want a doctor who has no experience and is an outsider to the profession. Is sick of mayor Pete attacking Bernie and biden when he hasn’t done anything in south bend

Because politician isn’t a profession and it was never meant to be a profession. Politicians spend their life cutting bogus deals to garner campaign contributions for the purpose of getting re-elected.

I don't believe we are only 22 trillion in debt for a second.

The democratic primary is a joke, but just because you held a job longer doesn't mean you do a better job than someone who has less time in the job. Some people are just better than others regardless of time spent in a role.

Prob because it's true. We need to drain the swamp. We got too many hanging around just to get the big money and promise much, do nothing.

"Experience", when used to refer to politicians, is the PC way of saying that that person is corrupt/bought/puppet.

Make sense?

Experience shouldn't be the standard, success should be.

Experience in politics is really understanding how things work and how to get votes, get things done, networking etc... it has frick all to do with understanding economy, taxes, debt, constitution, etc...

If you gave most of these clowns the key to Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Tesla, Amazon, they would frick it up. Guarantee it. Generally the smartest and brightest among us aren't working for the U.S. government.

Interesting analogy.
One could also say that the experienced doctor as good as they are was bankrupting the hospital as they lined their pockets, was pitting one hospital vs another and starting fights while lining their pockets, was putting family and friends on the gravy train at the hospitals expense while lining their pockets vs the young fresh out of med school youthful believer in the Hippocratic oath.

Hmmmmm.
