Ya, the SCOTUS fricked that one up. Just like they fricked up not overturning the 1934 NFA (and all subsequent regulations).

Not trying to paint you into a corner--just trying to understand your position. Are you saying that you believe there should be no limits on free speech?

you've done no research on the subject except for the rhetoric you ONLY follow. again, typical...

Typical as to not read the rantings of some one who throws out “your privilege”.

Did you give up your spot in school to someone less fortunate? Do you donate the portion of your paycheck you deem to make only due to privilege to a poor minority family? No you don’t. So check your privilege.

Btw. Where is my coffee? It’s the cup that says Privilege my A__.

That's interesting. A purist view and to a certain extent I admire that. Yet it is hard for me not to imagine certain scenarios in which speech should be restricted.

Example #1: You have a young child that walks to school. Each and every day an adult follows your child and constantly berates them with violent threats and sexual overtures.

Example #2: Lying under oath or in the course of an investigation.

These are two types of speech that immediately come to mind that seem they should have some sorts of legal restraints placed on them.

How do you resolve your views on unabridged freedom of speech with the above examples. Again--not trying to paint you into a corner--but genuinely interested in your perspective.

by your resolved response. I'm not going to provide you links or anything like that. I'd be devaluing one for another.

All I can say is do some research. Stretch outside your comfort zone, perhaps even into some of the Trump-declared "fake news". Go to youtube even and look at some videos on the subject.

White privilege is similar to any other conditioned privilege such as wealth. The lesson doesn't exist for you to feel that someone is devaluing your path in life. It, in fact, has nothing to do with that. It's to point out how things are simply more attainable to you because you are white, especially a white male.

I told you the difference any why the SC ruled they way they did.

If you incite a riot... you have malicious intent.

If you yell fire in a crowded theater... you have only malicious intent.

You can buy a weapon and have zero malicious intent.

That’s the difference. Case closed.

Again. Do you deduct the portion of your paycheck to give to a minority family? The portion you have due to privilege?

Did you give up your spot in school to a minority you deem not privileged?

How many of your assets you give away because you secured them by privilege.

I’d bet I give more to charity than you do. Between my large donations to goodwill instead of selling on EBay and giving to church and the Salvation Army.. I bet I eclipse your giving 10 fold.

So check YOUR privilege

This falls under the adage of "my rights end where yours begin." My child has a right to not be harassed. Your right to free speech does not override my right to not be harassed.

No one that claims “white privilege” for sure. You take your spot and possibly leave out a minority candidate. Then you hypocrites will not shut up about “privilege”.

And not in taxes. Oh no. I’m talking taking the portion of your NET pay and giving it away. You as a male earn more as a woman right? More than a black woman? Right? Statistically?

You are not keeping your amount you earn due to privilege??? Right???

SHAME!!

Those examples are almost as bad as your analogy to vehicles. Neither of those occur in a vacuum. We have other laws that prevent both from taking place, regardless of any First Amendment implications.

The freedom of speech is a constitutionally protected right. It would seem that trumps a non-constitutional right.

What right that's non-constitutional are you referring to?

Obvious alt-right fake protester is obvious.

Giant sunglasses, full cover up of the face, and moronic agitprop sign are your first clues.

Would be hilarious to find out who she is and what idiot Trumpkin paid her.

ETA: here's a protest sign that probably isn't fake. See the difference?

This isn't about comparing, young man.

I give what I can, but I'm raising a young family so that's limited. After all, you take care of your finances first, and that puts you into the position to help those later in life. And, I certainly plan on doing that to the fullest extent.

My white privilege is not really measurable. It's an establishment we're born into. I can tell you that it's not something I've been willing to understand until I looked into it by chance.

White privilege is not a penalty. It's an unatural benefit to living in a world where you are superior. You don't have to willingly participate in it for it to exist.

Step one is to fully understand that you had it easier than a minority in this country.

This 1st step is especially hard for those who have fallen off the wagon along the way, not taking advantage of their priveledge.

For many of these types, it's sometimes hard to watch minorities surpass them.

Once you get it, you live your life wanting to make sure future generations have a level playing field just like we do today compared to where we were yesterday.

It won't always be this way.

So you are saying that every single individual with a p___y hat and sunglasses is a fake alt right protestor? I mean.. they wore sunglasses and had moronic agitprop signs. First clues. Right?

And this is not an agitprop sign. This is based on the rallying cry of this entire “””movement””””.
