Sad thing is that we lose freedoms incrementally so it doesn't appear that we're losing much. But when looked at in the bigger picture, it's scary AF how much we've lost.

The message implies that "Safety" and "Freedom" are inversely proportional. It implies you can't have high levels of safety and high levels of freedom at the same time. In reality, you don't have to forfeit one to get the other. Just another liberal parlor trick.
