IMDB is going to lose millions of users. Many people go there just for the boards. It's a terribly stupid idea to get rid of them.
I know it's a swarm of trolls over there, but there's still a lot of helpful info to be gained from the boards. I'm sure their admins were overloaded with RA's and had to delete thousands of posts a day, but curing the disease by killing the patient is not the answer.

This is the answer. I can imagine the cost and time spent having monitor those boards which were filled with trolls was probably not cost effective any more. If they thought they could have made money the boards would still be there.

The left just cries that Trump will silence them. But it's just fear-mongering, and baseless.
Liberals are the ones in the streets beating up people who don't agree with them. Attacking people who hold different views.
You can not deny this or deflect, your party is being exposed for what it truly is. A hate filled group of would be socialist that use violence and intimidation to try to control a portion of the population that they do not like or agree with.

Yes they are ... they're simply well designed, well disguised, prepper shows.
If you're talking about overtly prepper oriented shows like Doomsday Preppers, et all, they ran their course and ran outta dumbasses willing to show their preps to the world.
Also, a number of shows moved over to OnDemand on places like Netflix.

"Hate speech" is not illegal -- that is a lie espoused by the left. I can call you a dirty wetback and that is not illegal. I can say I'm glad Hitler killed the Jews, and that's legal. On the other side of the aisle, I can say death to America and "Allah Akbar" and that in itself is not illegal.
What becomes illegal are explicit threats to persons or property.
But, you're right about free speech. Many people seem to misunderstand what the 1st amendment does and what it does not do. The 1st amendment gives you immunity from persecution or censorship from the GOVERNMENT for speaking your mind. It does not guarantee you any freedom from censorship from private entities like Internet websites and the like.
