The Bible never says the earth is 6,000 years old, nor does it mention any specific age. Some theologians have interpreted the earth being 6,000 years old because they take the literal interpretation of Genesis of a day, equaling a 24 hour period.
Many other theologians have other theories. Some even have a theory that the earth was created twice and there was a huge gap between the first and second creation. It’s not as simple as you pretend it to be.

Only one of us is pretending things happened to fit our narrative, and it’s not me.

Name the times Israeli soldiers have fought besides or for America. Israel is only our 'friend' when they need us.
S Koreans have fought side by side with American troops against N Korea/ China( Communism). Yet we have no problem trying to extort a few more nickel & dimes from S Korea over foreign aid.

Israel gets billions with no strings attached. If you dare ask questions about the billions to Israel you are anti semitic.

You pretend the Bible says the earth is 6,000 years old when it doesn’t. I’m simply clearing up your misstatement.

Slave morality. How sad it must be to waste what you have now for your imagined afterlife.

How sad it must be to waste eternity in hell because you wouldn’t accept the free gift of salvation.

I don’t get hung up on it. Adam was created as a grown man. I wouldn’t expect him to have baby teeth because he was technically a day old. He needed to be able to function.

The earth needed to be able to function and man needed to be able to figure it out and function on it. Whether it was seven real days or seven days in some story telling sense doesn’t matter to me. Creating an earth that has all the markings of forming naturally just makes good sense. I wouldn’t expect the earth to have baby teeth when Adam first walked on it.

For one thing, Adam was sinless, and we don’t know how long he lived before Eve was created.
Secondly, we don’t know how long Adam and Eve lived before the fall.

I called out a poster who has admitted in the past to believing in the Young Earth theory and used the Bible as his source.

Abrahamic religions are by far the worst / most destructive " pandemic" to ever spread on this earth.

I’m not choosing sides on the issue. Im simply stating the Bible never says in dogmatic language the age of the earth.
