They could still arrest management hold them for 24 hours take their pictures decide whether or not to charge the hiring managers then release them. That should put a little fear in them and is legal.

hmmmm… I am all about punishing the employers but I am in no way supportive of "arrest first" and decide to charge later type of shite...

You probably do not realize that there is a very fine line most hiring managers in this country have to walk in order to stay in compliance with State/Fed law(s) concerning hiring illegals AND not being sued and/or prosecuted for discriminatory hiring practices...

If you want this shite fixed, make e-verify the Federal law when it comes to hiring...

People are arrested and held under suspicion all the time for no reason at all other than some shitty arse cops being douchebags. They can also take your money and never give it back. I was arrested for an unpaid parking ticket that i forgot about. I got a notice so I went to the courthouse to pay it and they put me in jail, turned the key unlocked it let me out... Legally they could have held me for 24 hours because i was under suspicion for whatever reason they want to make up.

It wasn't 1 or 2 illegals it was a couple hundred. I agree with e-verify. These guys know what they were doing. It also wasn't just 1 plant. It is rampant in the industry.

I'm not defending the employers here but the only way to make sure you don't hire illegal aliens is to completely discriminate against hispanics and other brown looking people

That's a retarded statement.

So? You are comparing your incompetence over a single item to someone that does hiring for 600 to 2500 people at a facility, all while trying to stay within regulations from both sides, with a very high turnover rate...

Since MS does not require e-verify, as long as the applicant presents with required documents for hire that ARE NOT obviously forged, then these hiring managers have no choice but to hire them or they face discrimination charges.

They submit taxes, social security, etc, etc - tell me why duplicate social security numbers earning pay in two different states does not throw up a red flag quicker than it does...

At least hit up for deportation costs, including costs of raids to round them up.
Why should taxpayers foot the bill. They were the ones that hired them.
