No. Mormons don’t spread their cult through new neighbors.
If that’s what you mean.
Besides, the dogs do a damn good job.
I’m three houses from the nearest ward (small Mormon church) and never been invited.
Not that I’m complaining. Super sweet people but not welcoming if that makes sense.

No, not the ones that pimp their religion. The ones who graduated to pimping solar. Provo and Lehi is residential solar central. They pick up tons of LDS boys to be door knockers after they get done with their mission.

Its a tax credit if people buy an electric car, not a credit to Tesla.
So the tax credit goes away.......but chinese imports will now come with a 100% increase due to tariffs.
That sounds like a sweet deal if I am the only major electric car company manufacturing in the US. I highly doubt Elon is complaining about being thrown in the briar patch
Other posters are correct on the solar, he is against those credits going away.

quote:Johnson the Senator or the Speaker? I'm willing to cut the Speaker a little more slack d/t the razor thin margin he's working with, especially with Massey being a de facto Democrat vote.
Just posted a clip in another thread where Johnson claims Elon is lashing out because EV subsidies are going away because green new deal initiatives are being cut.

The Elon bashing has begun.
Definitely not a cult.

Im all for the EV credit if the cars are made in America like the Y
Telsa should be the main focua for EVs here. Keeps payments low as well. And they have their own inaurance
He should also get the internet deal for starlink for all in rural areas

Not quite as cut and dry as that. Every US based OEM gets some components from China or other FEOC. How heavily they rely on those and how quickly they can change supply chain will be the key.
To go a little deeper.
ex 1 - US assembled, many US parts but a few critical items like cells come from china.
ex 2 - Not US assembled or even many US parts but doesn't get anything fro FEOC.
Under current projections, ex 2 even though it wasn't made in the US or used many US components would have the competitive edge.

I knew it. You cultists are now turning on Elon. You are pathetic. The ONLY man in government doing things to cut down on fraud and waste, and now you are looking for reasons to attack him.

Curious to see where both sides MAGA and Conservatives stand on this one, preferably without the drama.
You could start by not attacking anyone that disagrees with Trump's bloated spending bill that essentially undid all of Elon's work.

Someone else caught the drama part.
That was my favorite part. Got a good chuckle out of that one.
ETA: you cuck bot. Who did you vote for?
