I think he believes in a perpetual motion system installed in a vehicle where friction and heat do not exist.

Ok, but then you use the reverse logic in the face of facts that EVs are growing and growing nowadays? Seems the market is speaking, and there is a growing market for EVs, based on your own logic. But now you're going to argue against your logic, is that what you're going to do?

The EV buses purchased by the progfilth inhabiting northern climates have also failed spectacularly in cold weather.

Norway, Sweden, Madison WI (I know of that first hand), Chicago, etc, etc, etc.

It's been pointed out to you a number of times the market has stagnated yet you continue to push this.

Typical true believer.

You think the market is pushing EV growth?

Can you compare EV growth in 2023 to the ICE market?

Your idea of a gotcha is the EV market growing at a 75% rate and going down to growing at a 50% rate is not the gotcha you think it is.

More people want and are buying EVs now than ever before.

If you want to argue against facts, have fun with that.

If I subsidized LG televisions more people would want an LG television than ever before. It might be a fact; I just wouldn't be dishonest enough to claim it was due to "the market".

There was a time span when Tesla buyers did not get the tax credits, so by your logic, Tesla sales would have plummeted during that time between when the subsidies went away and before they came back, correct?

That's not even pointing out the dishonesty of ignoring the other side of those subsidies, but here you are...

so by your logic,

Are you suggesting that the economic maxim of "if you subsidize something you get more of that something" is just my logic? Just something false I whipped out to discuss EVs?

EV sales grew by roughly 50% in 2023.

Which do you think holds more weight on a growing market, 1 company's struggles, or 50% growth in sales in the market as a whole?

I noticed you didn't answer the question.

Shouldn't Tesla sales and growth have stopped or at least slowed down once subsidies went away?

Now apply that logic to who received subsidies, as in, everyone who received subsidies, not just EVs, now what?

They absolutely did not stop or slow down when the tax credits went away, so why not?

And again, your argument of going from 75 to 50% growth as some gotcha is pretty funny. No market is going to grow at hyper rates like that forever. And 50% is still HUGE growth, but you tried to downplay it.
