Only the second time I've ever voted straight party but right now our country's traditions, beliefs, and economic security are at stake and I whole-heartedly believe the GOP is the party to preserve it right now. Here's to hoping Trump pulls this off again.

Can I ask if you voted for Cassidy?

I don’t really want to vote for him but I don’t think my vote will matter much

I did. Would like a better option but you got take what you can get sometimes.

100% voted for Cassidy! I'd do it again if I could.

Am I thrilled with him? No, but I damn sure wasn't going to risk giving my vote to someone else just because I'm not happy with his "mostly" conservative record instead of a 100% conservative record. Not worth it. He's better than the alternative.

I've been like this until recently. I will do it on the Federal level, but locally in a conservative area, I'm very careful. Lots of Republicans in disguise.

The mayor of my town is a "republican" but is a fool. Id vote for people I know who are better, even if they are a D.

To be blunt I don’t like how he went all in with the racial inequality of the virus / food deserts / lack of transportation
At some point people are responsible for their own health & there are way too many programs that are being abused that could be revamped to help people with healthy food choices / lifestyles

ETA
There are 14 people running against him
Another Republican & an Independent
I didn’t know if either of those could be better or even had a decent chance

This will be the first time I have ever done that. Too much at stake, and the Dems are just nuts these days.

Gotcha. Fair enough. I agree with your assessment.
Like mentioned, I don't know that there is a "better" option or an option that would actually unseat him.

I don’t think Cassidy will get 50% with all the candidates on ballot. There will be a runoff again.

With the current state of the democrat party this is the only viable option. Unless a person embraces America hating, baby killing, pedophilia, crime and perversion. Which they do

Oak Grove Community Center in Prairieville. I waited about 30 minutes. Longest I've ever waited in line to vote.
