Do you remember when you told us Rush Limbaugh was finished, and his advertisers were leaving him, his ratings were "plummeting", and stations were dropping him?
Did he actually post that???

My wife insisted on watching American Idol opposite them, plus, the reruns were over-shown, it's like Andy Griffin ,too much, too many,. The new shows were kind of lost among the reruns over and over. It will all level out in about 2 weeks and hit their peak.

Try again. American Idol premiere ratings were the lowest on record
The premier of last year;s Duck Dynasty was their all time highest rating. The rating of this year's premier is very high. Now, if at the end of the year 2014 ratings are 25% lower than 2013 ratings, then come back and talk to us.

So after A&E pulled their stunt I quit watching their station all together.
Pretty much this. Phil has more money than he could ever spend. I'm not going to give A&E my viewership after their cock chugging stunt.
If the drop in ratings were really about Phil's comments (it's not. The show is getting old) it should be a lesson on why you don't cater to the gays.
Duck commander garb is still selling like crazy and the cast is more popular than ever.

The 8.5m is similar to the January 2013 season opener. Much ado about nothing.

Why do you think this is happening?
Because they realized the show has gone downhill and it's nothing like their hunting videos

Personally I won't watch until they switch broadcasters. I want A&E to suffer. Phil will be ok.
Posted on 1/18/14 at 2:29 pm to Toddy
Probably because of Phil's comments about grown men marrying 15 year old girls. Those videos surfaced, and even Fox News had to scale down their support.

Toddy, why are you obsessed with having EVERYONE validate and applaud your deviant lifestyle?
It's unnatural. I've linked some data from the CDC, which shows that gay men accounted for 63% of the reported cases of syphilis in 2008. Think about that. Gay men probably make up about 2.5% of the total population, yet they account for 63% of this particular std.
Gay men are also much more susceptible to other diseases and cancers. Not trying to be cruel, but these are the FACTS. It's a deviant lifestyle.
Why should anybody approve or validate an unnatural, deviant lifestyle?

Why do you even care about their ratings?

quote:So Karla, you just admitted you lied. You said gay men accounted for all reported cases then you said 63 %. You're so dishonest and dumb that you missed that.

And speaking of dumb, using your "logic" and stats, from 6 years ago, lesbians aren't spreading the disease but heterosexuals are so you're the deviant heterosexual.
Thanks for admitting you're a lying, dumb deviant.

Anyone know how A&E is doing otherwise?
Posted on 1/18/14 at 3:34 pm to Jbird
It was a typo, vb. The actual percentage is 63%, and I changed it. Obviously, I wouldn't purposely distort a percentage when I've bothered to link the actual data.
Of course, I'm sure you'll use the typo as an excuse to avoid the facts surrounding what I posted.
Why are people like you and ballscaster afraid to acknowledge the serious health risks associated with this lifestyle?
