You have never had other people depending on you for their very life. You have never had to sit and worry about wtf you are going to do so your family has money. If my kid, who’s 13, comes home telling me what you said, and I find out who ruined him, he’s a dead motherfricker.

My guess is that the professor is older, probably in his 60's, but has never left academia.

His parents likely will still love him no matter what, but he has been so warped by his philosophy that he believes his parents hate him. They love and accept him even when they know their child is wrong. The child does not reciprocate.

I am not nearly as good a shot as my youngest son. He is incredibly steady and consistent with my other M4 and Glock 17. And he has no formal training.
