Did I hear correctly that she is an emergency room doctor and an attorney and a mother? I’d bet there aren’t five people in the US that can claim those three titles. When this country was founded, it was envisioned that our best and brightest would be asked to serve for a season in government then returning to private life. This is the kind of person that the founding fathers had in mind. I would be interested in hearing her views on topics besides covid 19.

One of many interesting tidbits in Dr. Simone Gold's speech was concerning the media's portrayal that blacks and browns are more impacted by COVID.

She noted that in all of Africa except South Africa (which is more westernized), there are huge populations of black people who do not wear masks, they do not social distance, and they do not have ICUs. And yet the death among blacks in Africa (minus South Africa) due to COVID is only 1% of that in the US.

Its not a miracle though according to Dr. Simone Gold, as she notes that COVID is not a racial impacted disease. Instead she said that almost all Africans take Hydroxychloroquine once a week as a Malaria preventative, and this is the reason they are not impacted by this disease like the rest of the world.
