Jones made his deals before voting to remove Trump from office. He knew he would lose after, he had to. So he made his deals and I am willing to bet he becomes a lobbyist and a big time swamp rat after he loses. Just saying he had to get something to vote to remove Trump because he had to know that voting that way means zero chance for reelection in Alabama. Therefore he will always vote with Schumer until he is gone.

Could have avoided this by just biting the bullet and vote for Moore.. have him seated.. let the Senate investigate him and then vote to remove him and Ivey could have appointed someone else and we could have done it all over.. Shelby should have voiced that but pussed out..
