Don’t believe your lying eyes ~ media edition

I’ve listened to four different media outlets report that James Fields deliberately drove his car into a crowd in Charlottesville, while the video shows the crowd attacking his vehicle before he runs through them. Not defending him but this reporting is a flat out lie.

I don't know what videos you've seen, but he accelerates down a street with a smattering of people around, into a large crowd.
There was also no one behind him, only on the sides, and while people were swinging at his car, he clearly could have backed up the way he came.
There was an intersection 50-100 feet behind him, so he could have reversed and turned around if he was that fearful for his life.
Dude straight-up ran into that crowd and you saying he didn't is being willfully blind.

Knowing what we know now, it's so much easier to see the media manipulation that was going on in 2016-17.
It was a little harder at the time but once you see the technique, you cannot un-see it.
