Keep in mind, folks. Kamala the Cackling Donkey is next in line for the Presidency. No way she can win a general election, but if Biden is removed prior to the election, that moron would be President.
Someone that stupid could easily turn what is now just a shite show into an unmitigated and total disaster - even in a few short months.
I think we can survive 9 more months of Mr. Potato Head, but DJT has to be re-elected or we are doomed.

I don’t get the celebration either. You want Biden to be the candidate in November.
People think everyone is tuned into how bad Newsome is. Many people will be seeing him for the first time as a handsome smooth talker and he will get votes Biden wouldn’t have otherwise.

Yesterday was not a victory, it was the start of a massive change.
Big question is how that change ends up because Biden clearly won’t be the candidate at the end of it after that report teabagged him by saying “he willfully did it but is mentally incompetent to stand trial.”

No one & I mean nobody would vote for her. But, it completely handcuffs the DNC if she ascends to the throne. How could they not nominate the sitting president, whom happens to be not only the 1st acting woman president, but one of color?

THIS, exactly this. Newsome will be flavor of the month, there won’t be time for him to be vetted by even the conservative press, and he can plausibly deny his craziness for a few months.
The country frankly doesn’t care for two old guys and Newsome, who is FAR more progressive than Biden, will take advantage of that.

Biden isn't running things now, and neither would Kamala. She’d simply be a figurehead like Biden.

There is ample information out there (for the moment...better hurry because they are beginning to scrub it) concerning Newsome's total mismanagement of CA and their staggering debt. It is not survivable unless Fed money (our tax dollars) kicks in.

They would probably have to convince her not to run. Otherwise, they will probably have to go with her, since it is too late to reset the primaries.
I think the other option is that this "controversy" continues for a couple more months, Joe secures the nomination and then announces that he is withdrawing his candidacy due medical issues or some such thing. He will finish out his term, so Harris is not President, and the DNC picks his replacement.

That would have been possible if yesterday hasn’t happened the way it did.
The document report was bad but the presser was a kill shot for him. I think RFK Jr gets a massive boost if they try this one rather than put someone else in now.
