Don Lemons just thought Obama ran for President in ‘06.

On his show they had some pollsters talking about the blue wave wasn’t going to be as big as they though blah blah. One guy was talking about how much the Dems picked up in ‘06, Don says but wasn’t that the Obama effect, people were excited about him running?
Guy had to correct him and say that was ‘08. This guy has a primetime show.

Was Obama really even a thing in 06? I recall he was a sitting senator for all of 5 months before launching a presidential exploratory committee. A true narcissist.

Obama got his name on the map after 2004 DNC.
In 2006 the dems were taking over congress running against the unpopularity of the US involvement in the Middle East. Then the dems shifted their message to blaming the failing economy on the republicans eventhough the economy failed due to policies that aligned with democrat philosophies.
