He will do the opposite. I'm not sure this guy has a 3 digit IQ. He does some stupid stuff.

Silly me, I've always thought they are supposed to represent the citizens, not try to discourage them

So, no plans to challenge Trump on the issues or in the marketplace of ideas?

He just wants to "break the spirit" of his supporters?

I'm sure it'll work out well for him....

This man hates me and he's never met me. That's pretty extreme.

The reciprocity there is that, now, a good many of us hate them equally or more.

And the sad (and worst) thing is that this isn't organic. Since the late 1940s with Operation Mockingbird (which never ended, as you can clearly see in mainstream and social media as well as pop culture, professional sports, Hollywood and the music industry), this division has been manufactured and deployed masterfully.

And none of us are immune. I like to think of myself as at least having a strong desire to be above the fray, but I no longer fight the urge to openly hate progressive democrats. When I see neck-bearded soy boys, the thought crosses my mind that it would be hilarious to throat punch them. I see a "woman" that looks like Rachel Maddow or Stephen Colbert and I smile at the thought of them throwing themselves from a 15th-floor window.

But I will say it's not totally one-sided. Where i differ from them, is that I am vehemently outspoken that "my side" (Congressional Representation) is just as bad. I think of Pierre Dilecto, anyone named Cheney, Lindsey Graham, Thune and Johnson, James Lankford, etc., and despise them with the burning fire of ten million supernovas. Does that make me transcendant? Far from it. But I feel it at least makes me a bit more objective and fair. And I'm being honest with myself at least, and not trying to pretend.
