"We believe it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the [committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from the public release," a top Justice Department official wrote in a letter today to Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California. "Indeed, we do not understand why the Committee would possibly seek to disclose classified and law enforcement sensitive information without first consulting with the relevant members of the Intelligence Community."
Now they are concerned that their could be "a risk of harm to national security". Sorry pals. If national security was so important HRC and Huma would be in jail right now. Stork and his girlfriend would be fired. Muller would have been told to get lost. How convenient is it for the Freakin BI and Dept of InJustice to hide behind "national security" so no one can be informed of the crimes they have committed.
As Okra said, "YO TIME IS UP!!"

When the government yells national security as an excuse to prevent disclosing information to the public, they're either lying or covering something up.

This confirms it’s real and bad shite

That's pretty much the closest we've gotten so far to the FBI screaming bloody murder. That's a full blown panic attack right there.
Uh it's because you've been obstructing their work at every turn and lying to them and keeping information from them for a long arse time.
They and the american people don't trust you worth a shite at all.

Yep. Oh, by the way, you can't release the memo because.. of... um... it would be a risk to national security.
Sorry that I DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. They have lied, connived, and mislead so much they have no honor. They do not deserve to be believed.
LOCK 'EM UP!!
THERE HAS BEEN NO GREATER RISK TO NATIONAL SECURITY THAN HAVING THE SofS WITH AN UNSECURED SERVER IN THE BASEMENT OR BATHROOM.
Will they comment on that!?

The FBI is a huge risk to US national security. The biggest in history, multiple times, if I recall.

When every President from FDR to Nixon is afraid of firing Hoover, you know that's an institution that's gotten too big for its britches and needs to be taken down a notch.

Nobody actually fricking believes this at all. How in the frick is a domestic case gonna have implications on our national security? Nobody is gonna all of the sudden start lobbing rockets our way because jug ears and the walking sack of shite that is Hillary Clinton got caught with their hands in the cookie jar...along with the rest of the highest echelon of Obama's cabinet.

But hey, the FBI can burn a church better than a Norwegian Black Metal band! Gotta be worth something!

National security risk? What are we gonna have to do, publicly apologize for scapegoating Russia for the past year? Release the god damn memo and let everyone of these mother frickers burn.

DOJ and FBI showed their cards with this request
Guilty as charged now
Hard to believe they'd be so obvious with a request like this

There has been 1 greater risk to the Nation's Security: The covert attempt to overthrow a duly elected POTUS.

Great point. What possibly could be in the memo worse than that?
OH! Naming the people responsible for trying to overthrow the duly elected POTUS. I think naming the people who have tried to overthrow the duly elected POTUS, actually protects our national security.
Releasing the memo will do the exact opposite of what they are claiming.
