I mean....
So... in order to be pardoned, then I have to first admit guilt?
"Correct"
And... once pardoned, the conviction is effectively erased from my record and it is as I never committed the crime?
"Correct. But you will always know that you have pleaded guilty. And you will have to live with that. And it will still be on your permanent record"
So... my permanent record, huh? Like that time I skipped school in the 6th grade? But, other than that, no consequences, nothing to hold against me... no conviction... no... nothing?
"But deep down, you will know."
Uhh... where do I sign?
