Well I guess this means Obama's lackeys have finished scrubbing her emails.

This. Then Rex and the bunch will say," see another false scandal." People don't usually go through so much haste to hide nothing.

Yeah, this thing stinks as bad as Watergate, but the kool-aid drinkers would never allow themselves to recognize it.

No Washington has computers set up to recover everything after a major event like a nuke. Everything was backed up...

And now that back up evidence has been destroyed which is why her emails are now magically appearing.

quote:Nameless attorneys are probably not the best source as far as what is on a backup. Just because the servers are backed up does not mean that we have a snapshot of any given server from several years ago.
“A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and there’s a catastrophe, so the government can continue operating,”
Having said that, I thought that news that the e-mails were recoverable came out a few weeks ago? I just don't think this additional "source" is adding anything credible.

would it be ok to use "nutty as a fruitcake" in a rap song, or whatever they are called (a rap?)?

I think you would have to say "fruity as a nutcake"..... You obviously can't say nut and fruitcake in the same sentence , that would be offensive

Wanna know how we can tell this "breaking news story" is all malarkey? Shall we parse this:?
An official from the Justice Department? Really? Lerner worked for the Treasury Department, not the Justice Department.
ADMITTED? Why would the author of that malarkey frame his/her piece in such a way when the Justice Department would never have issued any denials in the first place, since it's not their department.
Actually, the Federal government backs up what it needs to back up to continue operating, not everything under the sun.
If you can't see the contradiction in that paragraph then there's really no hope for you. Which is it? Is it "too hard" to get those emails or is it because "they don't want to"? How can you tell when a writer is clueless and themeless? When he floats multiple themes, even contradicting ones, in the hope one of them will stick.

“But it would be too hard to go get lois lerner’s emails from that backup system,” Fitton continued, paraphrasing the DOJ official. “So, everything we’ve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing emails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, it’s all been a pack of malarkey. They could get these records, but they don’t want to.”

Yep, and this has all been a delay tactic, and America will soon forget, at least those that weren't targeted.

It seems that any rational citizen of this country would want a full accounting of IRS targeting of political groups - no matter who is in charge.
This is not a right/left issue, but an issue that hits at the core of what makes this country different than banana republics.

But we aren't dealing with rational citizens here. We're dealing with a fruitcake and a guy who gets on YouTube with political messages wearing a dog costume.

Damn, you can't fugure out why the justice department is involved here? The DOJ was supposed to investigate the disappearance of the emails, thus they were asked by rhe judge what efforts they and/or the IRS made in order to find the so called lost emails.
There is zero contradiction, the DOJ could have got these emails long ago, AS IS THEIR DUTY, and these email would have sped the case up.
My guess is if they get all the emails Obama will be proven as the leader of this smear campaign and forced to resign. And many more will spend time in jail.
