Before the downvotes come in, I realize that there are a lot of other problems associated with illegal immigration, but it's just interesting to hear the economic argument that no conservative would make under any other circumstance.

I don't know what you're rambling about but facts are facts my friend. Hopefully you don't manage the monetary aspects of your household as you want the government to manage theirs - in the red.

give lottery citizenship to dreamers

Screw citizenship....just give them permanent residency status which is only revocable upon committing a felony.

They broke the law coming here, regardless of how they got here, so do not reward them with a right to vote. If they want citizenship, go back and apply the correct way. If they are so "valuable" to the US economy, they should easily win the right to citizenship in the merit based system!

It is funny how leftists wail about downvotes coming like they are rocks in a stoning.

Nobody gives a shite, those are do nothing buttons to make the chimps happy.

I wonder why we are not taxing remittances back to Mexico. $25 billion is remitted to Mexico from the U.S. every year. At a 10% tax rate that's $2.5 billion a year or $25 billion per 10 years. I say 10 years because that's how infrastructure projects are funded. Sell the 10 year bond to get the money up front for construction and pay on the back end to repay the bonds by taxing remittances. Mexico already taxes remittances on their end at 12%. In other words when people pick up the money from Western Union in Mexico, the Mexican government keeps 12%. The average remittance to Mexico is $187.00.

I say this is the perfect way to make “Mexico” pay for the wall. Better yet hit it at 12% since Mexico does and then pull out of NAFTA. Trump could then look at their President in the eye and say “I told you so and since you didn’t play ball I will make it hurt twice as bad. Now be a good lad and mow my lawn Jose.”
