he has to say he loves only florida and would never say goodbye. else the opponent paints him as using floridians as stepping stone to the presidency.
rest assured that if trump is not running DeSantis will run.

You should take that with a big grain of salt and chalk it up to political speak of a political candidate covering his bases lest he be accused of using Florida Governor as a stepping stone.
We'll see if he's still saying this after the 2022 elections.
It's a good bet that after 2024, his stock will never again be as high as it is then and he has to strike while the iron is hot.
He's not Christie and Jindal passing on 20212 to wait for 2016.

2024 is a free shot for DeSantis and loses nothing if he doesn't win and is still Governor for 2 more years after that.

i did not count on mcconnell preventing witness testimony.
since trumps calls to sec of state rafenberger are on tape he cant squeeze witnesses in re georgia election interference.

The 2015-2016 debates were some of the best TV I've ever seen. No doubt Trump will debate - and what will be interesting this time is Pence will likely be on the stage as well....at least for a little while.
